Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a very motivated, self starting couple to manage a great park in Yamba in the Northern Rivers of NSW. The park has a strong customer focus and you will be required to maintain exceptional customer services levels across the business.

We have a great team already in place and are looking for accomplished Managers who can complement that team. Our existing team work by the following core values: customer focused, honest, accountable, team players, and dependable.
Park experience is important and desirable, but more importantly you will have a strong work ethic and the ability to deal professionally with guests, staff, locals and park representatives.

You will be required to motivate and supervise staff activities as well as completing your own workload. It is essential that both applicants have strong computer skills and the ability to operate, or learn to operate a reservation system, RMS preferred.

There is a tremendous scope for career progression with this position, working with and learning from multi award winning managers. We are willing to discuss career progression roadmaps with the right couple.

There will be an attractive salary package and onsite full furnished accommodation provided to the successful candidates.  Pets are OK however must comply with the company rules. 

Job Requirements

Key responsibilities


  • Lead park employees to successfully carry out responsibilities and duties
  • Strong decision making and negotiation skills required.
  • Ensure the park procedures manual is followed at all times
  • Coordinate the reception functions and the allocation of accommodation
  • Coordinate the grounds and cleaning functions
  • Inspect accommodation, amenities and grounds to ensure standards are consistently met
  • Train staff to ensure the park’s high standards are maintained
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints in a courteous and professional manner
  • Assist in the management of up to date emergency procedures
  • Both managers must have sound computer skills and the ability to operate the reservation system, RMS.
  • Provide after hours and on call support as required

Park Operations

  • Workplace Health & Safety – inspect, report and make safe potential hazards
  • Amenity and Cabin cleaning – ensure accommodation and amenities are clean, well maintained and attractively presented
  • Front Office – reception, customer service, sales
  • Back Office – data entry, banking, reporting, administration
  • Grounds – mowing, landscaping, minor tree works
  • Maintenance - plant & equipment maintenance, arrange maintenance and repairs where necessary
  • Waste management – minimize general waste and maximise recycling
  • Park security – help ensure park is safe for guests and staff
  • Linen - arrange laundry and linen supplies
  • Sales & local marketing – run activities and park promotions
