Job Description

Kingaroy Holiday Park is a 73 site caravan park which includes 24 self contained cabins.  The cabins are predominately work related stays, and caravan sites are mainly used by tourists.  Managers will live on-site". The role is hands-on, and successful applicants will manage all aspects of the operation including:

#Management of the operation - including meeting profitability using key performance indicators

#Guest bookings-including online travel agents, check-in and welcome, following correct procedures

#Assist guests with advice and local attractions

#Staff supervision and rostering

#Back office operations including generating reports for the owners

#Updating social media and responding to travel sites

#Maintenance and upkeep of gardens, lawns, hedges, and pool

#Housekeeping duties including cleaning amenities, cabins, camp kitchen and BBQ areas, all recreation areas

Job Requirements

#Previous experience in similar role with demonstrated history

#Highly energetic and hands on

#Ability to multi-task in peak season

#Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.

#Confidence  with marketing the property, using several platforms

#Caravan Park Management experience, or equivalent management experience

#Excellent customer service, communication and relationship building skills

#Capacity to provide guidance, support and  leadership to all employees

#General reception and administrative experience

#Experience with Microsoft Suite, RMS9+ reservations system essential

#Purchasing experience and ability to manage costs within a budget

#Capacity to undertake general property and grounds maintenance as required
