Position overview

This is a p
ermanent part time
- limited tenure to 30/07/2022 position based at Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park.
The purpose of the role is to provide maintenance and outdoor services at the Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park and to provide support to the Parks Facilities Supervisor as required.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant experience in Trade industry or Caravan Park Industry
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety procedures demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements specific to building industry (e.g. work from height regulations etc).
  • Good communication skills to liaise with service users, public and other Council staff.
  • Experience in working in an on call/afterhours roster
  • Physically capable of handling the requirements of the position.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in other building trades (tiling, painting, plumbing, carpentry, parks and gardens maintenance, etc).
  • Experience in Newbooks booking system.
  • A current, valid Victorian driver’s licence.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Working with Children Check, Pre-Employment Medical Check and current Police Check.  Applicants for this position must be legally entitled to work in Australia.

Renumeration

$59,822.36 to $63,928.80 pro rata per annum (with additional applicable allowances) plus 9.5% superannuation guarantee
