Job Description

RiverGardens Holiday Park, Mildura.  We are looking for an energetic and motivated couple to be our next Assistant Managers at our great riverside property located on the Murray River and only 5km from Mildura city centre. This is a fantastic family-owned and family-oriented park that provides a fun filled holiday destination for holidaymakers. The park provides a great base for fishing, boating and skiing and is located only a kilometre from the award-winning Gol Gol Hotel and 3km from the very popular Trentham Estate Winery. Candidates with tourist park experience are preferred but candidate couples with relevant transferable skills may be considered. Above all you must both have outstanding attention to detail and be willing to work together with the Park Managers/Owners to continue to grow this great business! 

Job Requirements

Common Duties

  • General grounds maintenance and repairs
  • Some cleaning of cabins and amenities
  • Front office duties including check-ins, bookings and
  • Management of social media and third-party booking channels

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated strong maintenance and handyman abilities (a trade certificate would be desirable but is not essential)
  • Both candidates in the couple should have computer skills. One candidate should have exceptional computer skills with NEWBOOK experience preferred. The other candidate should have, at least, basic skills and must be able to assist in Reception, with check-ins and bookings during busy periods.
  • A focus on providing excellent customer service with an exceptional attention to detail applied to everything within the park and be able to think on your feet.

  • Be confident and be able to work unsupervised
  • Be ready to commit to this position for the long term, be available to work 5 days a week including weekends, school and public holidays.
  • Prepared to work with the Park Managers/Owners to achieve goals
