Job Description

Riverglen Holiday Park is ideally located on the banks of the Barwon River Victoria. A few minutes’ drive and you are in the heart of the City of Greater Geelong and its stunning waterfront location.

Our Park is looking for an Assistant Manager who strives for excellence and loves to work in a forward moving team environment. Our Park is located on 10 beautiful acres and consists of 120 Cabins and 50 powered sites.

We are looking for a fit, energetic and personable person with a good eye for detail, is passionate about our industry and is willing to work with us, with at least a 12-month commitment in mind.  

Previous experience is desirable but not necessary to apply. Applicants must have great communication skills and be able to demonstrate relevant transferable skills.

You will need to be prepared to reside on site in accommodation provided.

Pets are NOT permitted.

  • General Front Office duties
  • Online sales and marketing management
  • General grounds maintenance and repairs
  • Manage risks (WH&S)
  • Support current staff

Job Requirements

  • RMS experience desirable or strong computer skills
  • A focus on providing excellent customer service, always
  • Flexible attitude to work, and work hours.
  • Effective problem solving
  • Demonstrated good general maintenance and handyman abilities. A trade certificate would be desirable but is not essential.
  • Understanding of WH&S responsibilities
  • Prepared to work with the Managers/ Owners to achieve success

  • Have previous experience leading a team
  • Possess strong computer skills
  • Must be able to start asap

The Assistant Manager will report to the Management team and Owner.

This is a hands-on role, and you would be ideally suited if you:

  • Are ‘hands on’ and prepared to do whatever is required to ensure the smooth operation of the property.
  • Are passionate about being a part of the Caravan Park industry.
  • We require working with children check, Police Check, and First Aid Certificate
